Dr Indran Indrakrishnan is a Gastroenterologist and has his own private practice in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He holds a dual faculty position as a Clinical Professor of Medicine at both Emory University School of Medicine and at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in Suwanee. He is in the Governor appointed Georgia Board of Physicians Work Force that focuses on the development of rural healthcare of Georgia. Georgia House of Representatives passed a resolution, declaring February 14, 2018, as Dr Indrakrishnan's day in Georgia recognizing his accomplishments and contribution to Georgia. Georgia Senate also passed a similar resolution in April, 2017, honoring Indran's service to the community. Georgia Asian Times awarded Indran as one of the top 25 most influential Asian Americans in Georgia in 2016. He is in the development committee of Rainbow Village in Lawrenceville. Indran has a special passion for colorectal cancer prevention and is on the board of directors of Fight Colorectal Cancer, a national patient advocacy organization. He Lives in Sugarloaf Country Club in Duluth with his wife Gayathri MBA, CPA, daughter Harini who will be graduating from Emory this Spring as one of the top 100 senior honorary students this year and Nala, a mischievous but adorable Hawanese puppy.
