Suellen Daniels

Executive Director

Suellen Daniels is an energetic lady of many talents which have led to two full time and several part time simultaneous endeavors. All these jobs highlight her passion for organizational, planning and the personal development arenas where creative possibilities come to fruition. As one of the principals in a leadership development group, Suellen manages the day to day product and organization needs. She also works as a private organizational specialist, successfully directing her clients through triumph over chaos in their homes and lifestyles. Suellen finds extreme joy in helping others gain peace over their circumstances, and this gift has led her down many paths of teaching, learning, helping and guiding others to make sense of their mess, whether it be in their personal lives with their surroundings or in their financial lives with their bookkeeping. But the great work of Suellen's life--her magnum opus--is in the envisioning of Meals by Grace – a mission against childhood hunger. After personal tragedy left her husband, Steve, and her in dire financial straits with only the support of friends to help them, she realized the pain and difficulties they had been struggling with were all around her in a layer of society she had hardly noticed before…children. It was as if a light burst into her soul and a new passion was born. As she had been provided for and cared for, she was now compelled to share that same blessing with others. This mission would require deep organization and planning, and a strong team of compassionate volunteers to manage the complex processes of lovingly preparing and delivering meals to little ones in the community who are in crisis and a vision for personal development that would enable families to discover and grow into a place of self-sufficiency. Suellen provides the passion and vision behind the day to day execution of the most celebrated and fastest growing care organization for solving food insecurity in children in Forsyth County. Suellen has been married for 36 years to her mission partner and best friend. They have three adult children and were gifted with their first granddaughter late last year. Hugging and loving on volunteers and families in need comes naturally to her, as does the ability to lead, organize and execute with the goal of delicious hot meals being placed in front of hungry youngsters. Deep roots of security and love, and precious memories of thousands of family dinners shared over the years propel and motivate her to share that feeling with others so they too can feel safe and happy at home.
