Jackie has always been mission driven. Since she was a child growing up in Missouri, she was enterprising and creative finding was to raise money for the St. Louis Zoo, March of Dimes, Jerry's Kids and so many others. In addition to 20 years in the training and direct selling industry, Jackie is now the Chief Motivational Officer and Founder of A Matter of Motivation Inc, a training, speaking and leader building organization. She is also a John Maxwell Inner Circle Certified coach and trainer and passes John's DNA along through Mastermind groups she runs locally each week. Jackie brought her passion for leadership to Forsyth County more than a decade ago, and now serves as a Continuing Education Instructor for the University of North Georgia, is a graduate and board member of Leadership Forsyth and volunteers regularly for Mountain Lake Church. With 2 children of their own, she and her husband of 25 years, Jerry Martin believe that anything you can do to help those children in your own Jerusalem is a critical mission. They joined the board of Meals by Grace together after catching the vision of Suellen and Steve Daniels. The plan to support and assist the organization in any way possible until there are no more children going to bed hungry.
Suellen Daniels is an energetic lady of many talents which have led to two full time and several part time simultaneous endeavors. All these jobs highlight her passion for organizational, planning and the personal development arenas where creative possibilities come to fruition. As one of the principals in a leadership development group, Suellen manages the day to day product and organization needs. She also works as a private organizational specialist, successfully directing her clients through triumph over chaos in their homes and lifestyles. Suellen finds extreme joy in helping others gain peace over their circumstances, and this gift has led her down many paths of teaching, learning, helping and guiding others to make sense of their mess, whether it be in their personal lives with their surroundings or in their financial lives with their bookkeeping. But the great work of Suellen's life--her magnum opus--is in the envisioning of Meals by Grace – a mission against childhood hunger. After personal tragedy left her husband, Steve, and her in dire financial straits with only the support of friends to help them, she realized the pain and difficulties they had been struggling with were all around her in a layer of society she had hardly noticed before…children. It was as if a light burst into her soul and a new passion was born. As she had been provided for and cared for, she was now compelled to share that same blessing with others. This mission would require deep organization and planning, and a strong team of compassionate volunteers to manage the complex processes of lovingly preparing and delivering meals to little ones in the community who are in crisis and a vision for personal development that would enable families to discover and grow into a place of self-sufficiency. Suellen provides the passion and vision behind the day to day execution of the most celebrated and fastest growing care organization for solving food insecurity in children in Forsyth County. Suellen has been married for 36 years to her mission partner and best friend. They have three adult children and were gifted with their first granddaughter late last year. Hugging and loving on volunteers and families in need comes naturally to her, as does the ability to lead, organize and execute with the goal of delicious hot meals being placed in front of hungry youngsters. Deep roots of security and love, and precious memories of thousands of family dinners shared over the years propel and motivate her to share that feeling with others so they too can feel safe and happy at home.

His sister, Lindsay, attends The University of Missouri and his brother, Andrew, attends graduate school at DePaul University. Kel is a Georgia native and graduate of the University of Georgia. He has been involved with various facets of the construction industry for 30+ years, and in 2015, moved his family to Forsyth County to join a long-time friend in the business. He currently works with CBI General Contractors in Cumming. CBI performs commercial construction for national retail chains in 14 states. Kel has been married to his wife, Bonnie, for 20 years and together they have 3 active teenagers. Kel fell in love with coaching during his involvement with his children's sports activities as he saw a "void" in most young people's lives. For over 12 years, he coached youth sports. He also volunteered in a mentoring program with troubled youth at local elementary schools. After moving to Cumming, he looked for where he could serve others, especially children, and believed in Meals by Grace's vision of how aquaponics can help feed hungry children. Kel looks forward to assisting in the construction and development of the facilities for Meals by Grace and being a part of its growth in Forsyth County and beyond.

While living in Zanzibar work on his dissertation research in African History, Stephen's personal culinary explorations broadened. Even though the process did not yield a PhD or a career in academe, it did imbue him with a passion for food in all its cultural and material forms and a deep respect for local food systems, entrepreneurs and the impact they have on their communities.
Margot is currently enrolled at Chamberlain College of Nursing and aspires to receive her RN-BSN. She has a further goal of attending medical school to become a P.A. after gaining experience in the nursing field. Further along in her medical journey, she hopes to give medical aid and knowledge to countries that cannot afford medical care or restrict care amongst their citizens. The only child and daughter of two gracious and loving parents, caregiving and helping those in need has literally been built into her DNA. Margot began participating with her family in community service volunteer opportunities from childhood at St. Brendan's Catholic Church then when she was in middle school she fell in love with Meals by Grace! Her passion followed her to high-school where she created an annual donation drive through her school's National Technical Honors Society, single-handedly enlisting an army of volunteers with the same heart for helping. She has a passion for leading within her local community and will be assisting with the installation of a new Junior Board for Fill Ministries where leadership will be modeled to high school students as they grow into their life roles.
Mark Jones, a resident of Cumming, grew up in Perry, Ga where he learned the importance of food for families while he was the President of the FFA Chapter for three years. As a young man, he witnessed food insecurity when his grandfather set aside funds during the year and bough pickup truckloads of food and delivered it to needy families during the holidays. Mark earned a Business Administration degree from Macon College (now Middle Georgia State University) and is currently the Technical Sales Manager for Jainchem in Taylors, SC. In his 24+ years of International Sales, he visited 96 countries where poverty was sometimes overwhelming even for the seasoned traveler.
Mark has been married over 37 years to the rock of the family, his wife, Lynn, who leads the crafts/cards projects for Meals by Grace. His hobbies include fishing wherever there is water, flat water kayaking and a gold mining sluice. These hobbies come second in football season because he is the VP of North Metro Football League and a Board Member of North Metro Football Officials. Spurred by a "Hack My Life' TV segment, love of chemistry and desire to make something for Lynn, Sydney Soaps, his brand of homemade soap bars, now keep the house and everyone in it smelling fresh.
A few years back, Mark and Lynn volunteered at a Meals by Grace Sunday Service with their small group from Mountain Lake Church and it was immediately a blessing to see an organization where a volunteer could show up, donate time and funds to make a hot meal and deliver it with enough food for a week to food insecure families where you put faces and names with the need being met. This service reminded Mark of his childhood helping his grandfather in rural Crawford County and motivated him to help the people of North Georgia know at least this week they have the security of food to eat and can focus on their families and their other needs.
